That’s what I have been doing, looking ahead to the new season. With the seven feet of snow on the ground, I’ve been counting down the days. I’ve also done some looking back at last season too. Last season was not what Red Sox Nation wanted, however things just happen, and not the way anybody wants them too. With the additions of Pablo “The Panda” Sandoval, and the homecomings of Justin Masterson and Hanley Ramirez, the Red Sox are shaping up to be really good on paper. The lineup is already stacked with power, many, including myself have been saying that the Red Sox have the best and most feared lineup in the American League. On paper the 2015 team looks really solid, but just because things look good on paper, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it will translate to the field. The first split squad spring training game is on March 3rd between Boston College and Northeastern. For the game against Boston College, the Red Sox will be wearing Boston College jerseys in honor of Pete Frates, a former Boston College Baseball player battling ALS and the man behind the Ice Bucket Challenge. I know for sure I can’t wait for baseball season, because that only means one thing, spring and warmer weather on the horizon.
